18+TipOracle is an independent football prediction tips service run by a small team of professional analysts. Every tip is data-driven, analyst-reviewed and published before kick-off. No subscriptions. No backdating. No deleted results. Here's the story behind how we built it — and the people who run it.
Tipster sites should be judged on one thing: what they publish before the game, not what they claim after it.
The football tips industry has a trust problem. Most tipster sites cherry-pick their results, delete losing tips and quote win rates calculated over three carefully selected weeks. We built TipOracle to do the opposite. Every tip is timestamped before kick-off. Every result is logged publicly after the final whistle. Nothing is ever deleted. The track record you see is the full picture — wins, losses and voids.
We also believe that quality football analysis should be free. Charging for tips creates a direct conflict of interest: a paid tipster needs volume to justify the subscription, which leads to publishing weak tips that dilute the signal. At TipOracle, all predictions are free, always — because our credibility depends on publishing only tips we genuinely believe in, not tips we need to fill a quota.
We start with the numbers — form, xG, H2H records, clean sheet rates — and let the data lead the tip selection. Analyst judgement adjusts for context: squad news, motivation, tactical matchup. But the statistical foundation is always there first. We never decide on a tip and then look for data to support it.
TipOracle has no affiliation with any bookmaker and receives no payment tied to the tips we publish. Our revenue comes from display advertising only. Advertiser relationships have zero influence over which tips are published, which markets we cover or how confidence ratings are assigned.
James Hargreaves and Daniel Osei had spent years working in football data analytics — James in sports journalism, Daniel in statistical modelling for a sports data company. Both were frustrated by the same thing: tipster sites that quoted win rates that were impossible to verify, or that disappeared their losing tips. They started tracking a dozen popular tipsters manually to audit their real records. The results were damning.
What started as an internal experiment — publishing tips to a shared Notion page, timestamped and publicly accessible — quickly attracted a small following of friends and former colleagues. The format was simple: one prediction per match, recorded before kick-off, result logged immediately after. No editing, no deletions, no exceptions. In the first six months, the logged win rate was 71%.
With a proper site, a methodology codified into six clear stages and a third analyst — Sofia Reyes, joining from a Spanish football statistics consultancy — TipOracle went public. The Oracle Picks label was introduced to distinguish the highest-confidence daily selections, capped at exactly three per day. The Track Record page has been live and unedited since launch day.
TipOracle now covers every major European league — Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Champions League and Europa League — plus selected South American and international fixtures. The six-stage methodology remains unchanged. The team has grown to five analysts. The tips are still free.
James leads the Oracle Pick selection and manages the senior analyst review process. With a background in sports journalism and 9 years of football statistics work, he oversees the methodology and all editorial decisions. He signs off on every Oracle Pick personally before publication.
Daniel built and maintains the statistical models underpinning every TipOracle prediction. His background is in quantitative sports analytics — he spent four years building probability models for a European sports data company before co-founding TipOracle. He owns the xG pipeline and market value check stage.
Sofia specialises in Spanish and Italian football, covering La Liga and Serie A tip selection in full. She joined TipOracle from a Barcelona-based football statistics consultancy in 2022. Her work covers Stage 2 context analysis and squad news verification for all southern European fixtures.
| Standard | How We Apply It |
|---|---|
| Pre-kick-off publication only |
Enforced Every tip carries a server-side timestamp recorded at publication. No tip is ever published, backdated or amended after kick-off under any circumstances. The timestamp is immutable. |
| Full result logging — wins and losses |
Enforced Every result — win, loss or void — is logged on the Track Record page after the final whistle. Losing tips are never deleted or hidden. The Track Record has been continuously published and unedited since the site launched. |
| Oracle Picks capped at three per day |
Enforced The Oracle label is reserved for tips passing all six analysis stages with an 85%+ model confidence and 5pp+ market edge. If fewer than three qualify on a given day, fewer than three are published. The cap has never been raised to fill a quota. |
| No affiliate or bookmaker relationships |
Enforced TipOracle has no referral agreements, no paid placement deals and no revenue arrangements with any bookmaker. Advertising is display-only. No bookmaker has ever been shown a tip before publication. |
| Dual analyst review on Oracle Picks |
Enforced Every Oracle Pick requires a mandatory second-pass review by a senior analyst before it is published. Standard tips pass a single senior analyst review. No tip — at any confidence level — is published on one person's judgement alone. |
| No predictions for sale |
Enforced All TipOracle predictions are and will remain completely free. There is no premium tier, no VIP tier, no Patreon and no WhatsApp group. Charging for tips creates volume pressure that is incompatible with quality editorial standards. |
Every Oracle Pick card shows the data, the confidence rating and the analyst note that drove the selection.
TipOracle is run by James Hargreaves and Daniel Osei, who co-founded the site, along with a team of three professional football analysts. Every tip is analyst-reviewed before publication. See the Team section above for full bios.
Yes — completely. All predictions, Oracle Picks, accumulators and track record data are free with no account required. There is no premium tier and there never will be.
TipOracle is funded by display advertising revenue. Advertising relationships have zero influence on editorial content. We have no referral agreements with bookmakers and receive no payment linked to the tips we publish.
Win rate is calculated as tips won divided by tips settled (wins + losses). Void tips — where a match is postponed or cancelled — are excluded from the calculation. The full tip log, including all losses, is visible on the Track Record page.
We cover all major European leagues and selected international fixtures automatically. If there's a match or league you'd like us to add, you can contact us via the email in the footer. We don't guarantee coverage of every requested fixture, but all suggestions are reviewed.
