18+Every TipOracle prediction passes through a six-stage analysis process before publication — statistical modelling, context analysis, squad news verification, market value check, senior analyst review and timestamped publication. Here's exactly how we do it.
We begin with raw match data: each team's results over the last 5–10 games, expected goals (xG) for and against, clean sheet rates, average goals scored and conceded, and scoring streaks. A form-weighted probability model generates an initial win probability for all three outcomes (1, X, 2). This is the statistical foundation every prediction is built on.
Raw probability is adjusted for context. Head-to-head records over the last 3–5 seasons, home and away split records, tactical matchup history and competitive motivation are all factored in. A relegation-threatened side at home gets an upward motivation uplift. This stage is where human analytical judgement matters most.
No prediction is finalised without checking confirmed squad news. Injury reports, suspension lists and manager press conference quotes are reviewed before every publication. A tip with a key player ruled out may be downgraded or withdrawn. Squad monitoring continues on match day — significant changes before kick-off are flagged immediately.
A strong statistical signal is only worth publishing if the available odds offer genuine value. This stage checks whether the market has already priced in the edge. If a team is strongly fancied but odds are extremely short with no margin, the tip is deprioritised or moved to a more specific market where value remains. We never publish tips purely for volume.
Every tip — regardless of market or confidence — passes through a senior analyst review before it goes live. The reviewer checks the full data package and can approve, amend or reject. Oracle Picks receive a mandatory second-pass review by the most experienced analyst on the team that day. A tip is never published on one person's judgement alone.
Tips are published with an immutable server-side timestamp before the match starts — no backdating, no post-match tips. After the final whistle, every result is logged on the Track Record page. Wins, losses and voids are all recorded and permanently visible. Nothing is deleted. This transparency is how TipOracle maintains a verified 74% win rate.
| Rating | Confidence % | What It Means | Best Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| ◈ Oracle | 85%+ | All six analysis stages pass. Our probability estimate exceeds the bookmaker's implied odds by 5+ percentage points. The statistical case is exceptionally strong and squad news is confirmed. | Standalone singles · Acca anchor legs |
| ● High | 75–84% | Strong statistical case with a 3–5pp market edge. All six stages pass. Suitable for accumulators and singles. The majority of our daily tips fall in this band. | Accas · Singles · Must Win selections |
| ● Medium | 60–74% | The statistical case is present but the market edge is smaller (under 3pp) or one contextual factor introduces uncertainty. Use with caution in accumulators — better as standalone selections. | Standalone singles · Careful acca use |
| ● Low | Below 60% | Speculative value bet — typically used for higher-odds markets like correct score or draw tips where the odds are attractive relative to a low but real probability. Higher variance, higher potential return. | Value singles only · Never in accas |
All six analysis stages pass. Our probability estimate exceeds the bookmaker's implied odds by 5+ percentage points. The statistical case is exceptionally strong and squad news is confirmed.
Strong statistical case with a 3–5pp market edge. All six stages pass. Suitable for accumulators and singles. The majority of our daily tips fall in this band.
The statistical case is present but the market edge is smaller or one contextual factor introduces uncertainty. Better as standalone selections than accumulator legs.
Speculative value bet for higher-odds markets like correct score or draw tips. The odds are attractive relative to a real but low probability. Higher variance, higher potential return.
Our primary market. All six stages applied in full. Home win, draw and away win tips with probability bars, odds comparison and form data on every card.
Selected using each team's scoring rate, defensive record and H2H BTTS frequency. GG Yes tips require both sides to have scored in at least 60% of recent fixtures.
Combined xG projection for both teams generates an expected total goals figure. Over 2.5 tips require a projected total of 2.8+. Under tips require 2.2 or below.
Pre-built accas using only High or Oracle-rated legs. No padding with low-confidence selections to inflate combined odds. Every leg must independently qualify.
High-variance, value-focused market. Score distribution modelled from xG data and H2H scoring patterns. Published only when a specific scoreline shows clear probability vs odds value.
Used when the data favours a team but the odds on the outright win are too short for value. Covers two of three outcomes. Confidence threshold is set higher here given the reduced odds.
| Practice | Why We Avoid It |
|---|---|
| Delete or edit tips after kick-off | Every tip is timestamped before kick-off and the record is permanent. Deleting losing tips is the most common form of dishonesty in sports tipster markets. |
| Publish 10+ "oracle" tips per day | The oracle label has meaning only if it is rare. Calling 10 or 15 daily tips "certainties" destroys the signal. We publish exactly three oracle tips per day — or fewer if fewer qualify. |
| Pad accumulators with weak legs | Adding low-confidence legs to boost combined odds is common across tipster sites. Every leg in our pre-built accas must independently pass the High or Oracle confidence threshold. |
| Quote ROI without context | Return on investment figures without stake assumptions and full losing tip disclosure are misleading. Our track record page shows tips won, tips lost and the raw win rate — nothing more, nothing less. |
| Charge for predictions | All TipOracle predictions are and will remain free. No premium tier, no subscription, no WhatsApp groups. A tipster charging for predictions has a conflict of interest with their own publication volume. |
Every result published and logged. Monthly win rates, market-by-market statistics and a 30-tip rolling results log. Full transparency, updated daily.
